About

Built and reviewed by a CMA

Calcority's calculators and guides are written and reviewed by Tahir Asif, a CMA (Certified Management Accountant), so the formulas behind every number match real accounting and finance practice rather than a simplified approximation.

How accuracy is kept

Standard formulas, not simplified ones

Every formula matches the standard accounting or finance treatment taught in CMA/CFA coursework, not a simplified or approximate version.

Realistic worked examples

Worked examples use realistic numbers, checked by hand, not placeholder round figures.

Conventions stated explicitly

Where a topic has more than one accepted convention (like pre-tax vs. post-tax break-even), the calculator states which one it uses.

Kept current

Guides are updated when a formula, benchmark, or figure changes rather than left to go stale.

Questions or corrections

Found a formula that looks off, or a benchmark that's out of date? That's useful to know — every calculator page links back to the guides behind it, and every guide is revisited when something changes.
